Kenzie + Ashley

Married : July 29, 2017 

These two gorgeous ladies are absolutely breathtaking in their wedding gowns, we started the day off right with hair and make up at a nearby hotel. . .  shortly

after Ashley & Kenzie decided to do a first look which was I’m sure the most nerve racking part of their special day! They were persistent about not seeing

each other in their wedding dress so much so Kenzie walked backwards all the way to Ashley before the big reveal !! It was just apart of Kenzie’s

sense of humor that made the day even more of a great time for these two!

If you haven’t been reading about this lovely couple they met at work Springfield Clinic and dated a year and eight months before

tying the knot!  Their first date took place at Burger Bar here in town where they ate lunch and their love story blossomed.

Kenzie popped the BIG question while hiking on the trails at starved rock park in Olgsby , Illinois.

They enjoy fishing, going to softball & watching tv series together and late night snacks !!

 ( who doesn’t love a late night snack? Mine is  a bowl of Special K red berries right before bed * yummy*  )

Kenzie , Also shares an amazing bond with Ashley’s daughter Mia!  While at Lincoln’s New Salem  taking portraits Kenzie gave miss

Mia a ring to symbolize she would take care of her and here mother.  ( made me tear up a little it was adorable )  Mia played a role in the wedding as their flower girl.

They also share a fur baby together named Easton their family dog.

The couple are always poking fun about one another about who loves who more . . . and its obvious that they both truly love each other

more than the other one knows! and that’s what makes them so perfect for each other !

A while back we asked the couple what they love about each other and  Ashley’s answer was genuine and a heartfelt compliment towards her soon to be wife

” Well first off is her love for me and making me always feel number one. She’s also very affectionate and outgoing. And most of all I love that she allows me to feel safe being me!!”

Kenzie’s answer was more of a humorous and loving statement about her beloved Ashley

“Her personality and smile. Always there for me no matter what the situation. The way she loves me and the unconditional love she puts forth to me make me feel like I’m the only girl in the world.

She is beautiful inside and out. We can always laugh, cry and pee our pants together. Our favorite farewell is ” love you forever and always”  “

Throughout their entire day was nothing but details filled with gorgeous blush and burgundy pantone’s and the couple’s selfies and engagement portraits!

Also, they added lace details . . . and the venue added a POP of Pinterest to really bring forth the Rustic style this couple was going for !!

I can’t wait to see the two of you grow and live happily ever after , We really enjoyed capturing these

beautiful moments for you and hope you love them as much as we do!
