Have you met one of our newly featured engaged couple Jill & Josh yet? If not here’s a chance to get to know a little bit about them (:

One of my most favorite questions to ask the bride and groom’s to be is the usual: How did you meet? And how long have you dated?

Jill says “We met through mutual acquaintances. It was someone I had gone to school with and someone he works with. We have been dating for over three years.”

We all are dying to know Where was your first date? What did you do?  Jill continues to tell us their love story and how it began “ Our first date was actually a double date in normal, il. We went to Olive Garden for dinner and then went to a bowling alley.  “

The next BIG question we love asking is you guessed it How did he propose? Jill with a SMILE on her face tells us “We went out to eat at Olive Garden with the couple we went on our first date with. After that we went to the bar we frequent, The Track Shack. He played our song and took me into a side room where all of our friends and family were waiting and he got down on one knee and proposed!”

We like to know some of the things our newly engaged couple’s enjoy doing together and how they spend their quality time together so we asked Jill to tell us What are your favorite things to do together? We like to go to hockey games, mostly Jr. Blues or the St. Louis Blues. We go to the movie a lot. We love going camping and swimming, and mostly just being around each other.

And of course animals are a big deal with me so pets and furry family members are one of the most important parts in our lives we just have to know Do you have any pets? If yes, what are their names?  Yes, we have two cats. Their names are Persephone and Penelope.

Now one of the other things we enjoy asking our newly engaged couples is to test how much you actually pay attention and if you have any certain things in common and if you have a sense of humor (: so we asked Jill & Josh  if you have everything in common or do you have things that you can’t agree on but poke fun about? She replied “We have a lot of things that we can’t agree on! Music is one. He is very passionate about the music he likes and anything he doesn’t like he makes fun of when he hears it. We also have the pop/soda disagreement, a lot!”

Now some questions in the hot seat !! Here we go!

Question for the GROOM: What things do you love the most about her? Josh continued to tell us what he loves about his wife to be Jill “What I love about Jill is her sense of humor, and how at ease I am with her. I feel like I have known her all my life and we truly are soul mates. She is also really pretty and will be a great future mother to our children. She is also very caring and tolerates all my bullcrap.”

Question for the BRIDE: What things do you love the most about him?  Now we asked the same question to Jill her response was “What I love most about Josh is who he is as a person. He is always so kind and caring. He is also funny and a little bit of a smart ass!”
