A few weeks ago I had a few students from Pleasant Plains High School job shadowing me,  I was so honored to have them be apart of this amazing shoot.

Victoria has been one of my closest friends for a few years now,  she always comes to me for portraits. I was shocked to find out why she wanted to schedule… It was a huge secret!  I couldn’t stand all the anticipation! Oh my Goodness.. She was going to tell Ava that she was being promoted to a
BIG SISTER!!!

That’s one of the most exciting times in ones life to find out they are carrying another child.. believe it or not Ava was totally for it..

We asked her if she wanted it to be a boy or a girl and she said she’d like it to be a girl.. but if it was a boy she wasn’t going to treat the baby any differently.

at first she was a little shocked since she couldn’t quite read her shirt yet.. so Mom had to come out and say it.. it took a few times to really register.

But once it did she wanted to give the baby kisses and hugs and couldn’t wait for the baby to get here.

As a friend I’m more than excited to have shared this special moment between mother and daughter, I hope nothing but the best for the new addition to this perfect little family, as a photographer I’m also more than honored to be taking the portraits of this baby when it arrives.

Like I had mentioned earlier I have been taking Ava & Victoria’s portraits for atlas 3-4 years now.

It makes me so excited to know that I have loyal clients who are behind me and my business with their whole hearts they trust me to capture the special milestones in their lives.
