Everyone take a few minutes to meet

Najwa + Nick

Married : July 8, 2017

These two love birds met at a friends house through a mutual friend and clicked right off the bat! They have been together for almost 3 years now,

Najwa told us a while back about their first date “Our first date was incredible! Nick took me to see a film about Jerusalem cause he knew I was Arab and that it would interest me.

After the movie, we went out for sushi at the Drunken Fish in Saint Louis ( my favorite sushi restaurant). That definitely won me over”.

We love proposal stories too much not to include how he asked in their wedding day blog.

“MOST ROMANTIC PROPOSAL EVER <3. It was Friday Aug 7th and we were both at school.

My two girlfriends had asked me to go out for lunch with them since we had a 2 hour break. Little did I know,

while I was at lunch, he was planting a “treasure hunt” in my apartment.  After lunch I went straight back to school. When I came home after school that day,

I found a huge bouquet of flowers sitting on my living room table with a note. That note led to a series of little notes and gifts planted around my apartment.

I finally reached the last not which instructed me to throw on a nice dress, paint my nails, and meet him for a nice dinner at 7pm.

When I followed the directions of where to go, I found him waiting at the most beautiful nature preserve overlooking the waters of the Mississippi River.

As soon as I approached him, he popped the question, I said YES, and our families popped up from hiding cheering loudly. It was a moment I will never forget”- Najwa.

Najwa + Nick are huge foodies so of course they had a great array of food to choose from during their reception

and they strayed from the traditional cake and cake pops for dessert, They had truffles with the most interesting flavor

Krispy kreme doughnuts! It was so incredibly good I couldn’t believe they tasted exactly like a glazed doughnut!

This Blush & Navy wedding also had lace details within the girls dresses which matched the brides gorgeous gown.

Najwa + Nick are both dentist’s, These two also have generations of doctors in the family which is one of the many things that made this wedding unique.

I absolutely loved the gorgeous bouquets, details are my favorite!

Their reception was held at Panther Creek Country Club and we were lucky enough to get great sunset portraits to conclude a perfect day,

also at their reception they paid a tribute to Najwa’s culture and had an Arab dance party and it was absolutely breathtaking. Of all the

weddings we have ever photographed they had the most people on their dance floor and their families were so welcoming of their guests

who were not familiar with their cultural dances that her family would show them how to dance which was one of my favorite parts about this day.

Nick also was learning their language not because they asked him to but because he wanted to for Najwa. These two truly are an amazing couple

and we are so blessed to have been apart of it. Thanks so much for inviting us to capture your happily ever after!

Also, Special thanks to their amazing creative team that helped make sure they had the most beautiful wedding.
