Hey Everyone, This is Brianna !

I had the chance of meeting this gorgeous lady through social media and have gotten to know quite a bit about her and her photography career so far !

 She had contacted me shortly after I had posted the information about the mentoring sessions

that are now available. She has had prior photography experience and has decided to invest

in some education for her growing photography business! 

She wanted to focus on a few things to make her portraits better before shooting her very first wedding

which we can all agree is pretty scary as a photographer.

” I have been doing photography since January of 2015. I started photography when I was a sophomore in high school and I just graduated high school a couple of days ago. “– Brianna .

We spent the afternoon at Washington park here in our local town of Springfield, IL.

We started out first with her headshots because we all know as a growing professional  you need to

have a great headshot or 50 ! LOL to futon your website so that people can get to know who you are as

a professional and on a personal level.

During our session we worked through editing in lightroom vs. photoshop as well as how

to produce images that are of great quality within white balance and getting it right in the camera

so that when she pulls them in to edit there will be few adjustments needing to be made.

We also talked about a few posing techniques on how to create natural images

so that her clients are more relaxed and feel comfortable behind her camera.

I can not wait to see how this mentoring session impacts her business and helps her achieve her goals

within her photography career! Brianna is such an inspiring artist with a lot of really

unique and creative ideas and I believe that this session has brought her closer to helping

her find her style as a photographer and helping her embrace what a beautiful gift she has

and how to better serve her clients as she embarks on this journey.

One of the things I make sure that I do for my mentoring students is creating a game plan for them

to go home and really implement what they have learned and to figure out how to use that

information in order to make an impact in their growing business’s.

These hours that I spend coaching others to help them with their business goals are truly some of my

favorite parts of my job now that I am full time. I know how frustrating it can be to learn

something and then to actually to make something happen with what I’ve learned is a little bit of a

challenge for me especially when I have too much going on at one time!

LOL which lets be serious.. is ALL the time . But hey! I love the crazy life I live I wouldn’t trade it for

the world (: I enjoy meeting other creatives and watching their business take off and I can’t wait to see

where Brianna is by this time in 2018.
